Every single cake is handcrafted with love and whole ingredients, meaning no chemicals or mixes are used. Rachel also uses eggs from the local Kid Hollow Farm, where goats and dogs also live on the grounds to ensure the safety of the chickens. This lovely bakeshop also aims to use local fruits from orchards and farms as much as possible. Horse & Hen has gone above and beyond by limiting their trash to no more than one bag per week through consistent recycling and composting. Horse & Hen also uses paper or compostable plastic for packaging of anything in-store, including local soaps, chocolates, and of course beautiful flowers.
